About Zestasy
Zestasy is an independent lifestyle magazine about four things: food, movement, mindset, and books and ideas. We write in one collective voice, for curious adults who like to move, like to eat well and are allergic to being lectured.
What we cover
- Food: fresh ingredients, home cooking, flavour. Simple things done properly. The recipes we publish are vegetarian; nobody has to be.
- Movement: running, swimming, cycling, strength, small adventures and the everyday kind. For the joy of it and for what it lets you do.
- Mindset: confidence, consistency, resilience, independence. Concrete observations rather than slogans.
- Books & ideas: books worth your evenings, and ideas worth an argument over dinner.
How we write
Every answer page opens with the answer, in two or three sentences, then goes into the detail. When we state a fact, we link where it comes from; when we can't verify something, we don't say it. When we're giving an opinion, we sound like it.
Our tone is dry, warm and grown-up: premium sport meets Italian summer. We joke about sad desk lunches and overcomplicated routines. We never joke about bodies, weight, or what anyone chooses to eat.
What we don't do
- We don't give medical, nutrition or training advice, and we don't promise physical results. If something matters for your health, a qualified professional who knows you is the right person to ask.
- We don't publish nutrition numbers without a source, and we don't moralise about food.
- We don't sneer at tins, frozen vegetables or ready-made anything. Fresh is a priority, not a virtue test.
- We don't sell body ideals, before-and-afters, or wellness language that means nothing.
- We don't publish a recipe until it has been cooked and checked in a real kitchen. That's why the recipes page is still quiet.
- We leave politics and religion to other publications.
